To get to know deeper about yourself, meditate!
Meditation is a process of nurturing self-awareness, in which you focus on what is happening inside you. What is in your mind, your heart, and your body!
By staying still, you are awake.
You see what you do not see and hear what you do not hear – when you allow your conscious mind to recede and the subconscious mind to come to the forefront, you reward yourself with spontaneity, calmness and trust.
The stillness generates insights on you and the existence. This is something that is unlikely to happen if your have your eyes and heart buried in the entanglement of daily routines.
It releases your eyes and heart from the repression, so that you are able to learn – although you might think that you are not learning.
Meditation is another way to learn. It teaches you about who you are, and why you are doing what you do.
It brings to you what a lot of other exercises cannot.
“Be totally empty,
embrace the tranquility of peace.
Watch the workings of all creation,
observe how endings become beginnings.”Lao Tzu, Verse 16
